Plain-language terms for buying from KEYHAUS. By placing an order you agree to these.
1. Acceptance
By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Products & fitment
We match replacement keys to vehicles by FCC ID, frequency, and transponder chip, and show a fitment confidence score to help you choose. While we work hard to be accurate, vehicle configurations vary. The confidence score is guidance, not a guarantee of compatibility — your 30-day fitment guarantee is what protects you if a key doesn't fit.
3. Programming & cutting
Most keys require cutting and/or programming to your vehicle, which is performed by you, a dealer, or a locksmith. KEYHAUS supplies the hardware and the recommended method; we are not responsible for programming performed incorrectly, locksmith/dealer fees, or vehicles whose security systems require dealer-only tools. Always confirm the programming method on the product page before purchase.
4. Pricing & payment
Prices are in US dollars and may change without notice. Payment is processed securely by PayPal (PayPal balance or card). Your order is confirmed once payment is captured. We may cancel and refund orders affected by pricing errors or suspected fraud.
5. Shipping & returns
Shipping timeframes and costs are described on our Shipping page; returns and exchanges are governed by our Returns & Exchanges policy, both incorporated into these terms.
6. Intellectual property
FCC IDs, OE part numbers, and vehicle make/model names are shown for fitment reference only and remain the property of their respective manufacturers. KEYHAUS is not affiliated with or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer. Site content, design, and the KEYHAUS name are our property.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KEYHAUS's liability for any claim relating to a product or this site is limited to the amount you paid for the product at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including locksmith fees, towing, or lost time, arising from key fitment or programming.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
