We sell one thing and we want it to fit. If a key doesn't match your vehicle, send it back within 30 days — most fitment returns ship free.
The 30-day fitment guarantee
If a key we matched to your vehicle doesn't fit, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll cover return shipping and send the correct key or a full refund. The fitment is on us — that's the point of buying from a specialist.
What qualifies for a free return
- Fitment issue — the key matched your FCC ID / vehicle on our site but doesn't physically fit or pair. Free prepaid label.
- Wrong item received — you got something different from what you ordered. Free prepaid label.
- Defective on arrival — dead on arrival, damaged buttons, or won't hold a program. Free replacement.
Standard returns (changed your mind)
Unused, uncut, and unprogrammed keys in original packaging can be returned within 30 days for a refund. For non-fitment returns, the original shipping is non-refundable and a return label fee may apply. Items must be in resellable condition.
What can't be returned
- Keys that have been cut to your vehicle (a locksmith/hardware cut is permanent).
- Keys that have been programmed/paired to a vehicle (transponders learn the car and can't be resold).
- Key blades or shells showing use, or items missing original packaging.
If a key was the wrong fit, this still qualifies under the fitment guarantee above even if you attempted to program it — just tell us what happened.
How to start a return
- Go to your account → Order history, find the order, and choose Return or replace — or email us via our contact page with your order number.
- Tell us the reason (fitment, defect, wrong item, or changed mind). For fitment issues, the FCC ID printed on the key helps us send the right one.
- We email a prepaid label (for qualifying returns) and instructions. Pack the key in its original packaging.
- Drop it off. Once it arrives and passes a quick check, we issue your refund or ship the replacement.
Refund timing
Refunds are issued to your original payment method (PayPal or the card used at checkout) within 2–3 business days of us receiving the return. Your bank or PayPal may take a few additional days to post it.
Before you return — check programming
Many "it doesn't work" cases are actually un-programmed keys, not wrong keys. Smart keys and most fobs must be paired to your car (OBD self-program, or by a dealer/locksmith). See our programming guide first — it may save you a return.
